Emma’s email address seems like it’s coming from a real business.
John’s address, meanwhile, seems like it’s for his personal email, which could raise doubts about his professionalism.
So a business email address is one that’s solely dedicated to business communication and ends in a company’s domain name (@accountingservices.com).
2. Why should I have a business email address?
Having a business email address may seem like it doesn’t really matter, but it can have a huge effect on your business because some other business owners will not feel comfortable doing business with you using your personal email address.
For example, it helps boost your company’s credibility by making your email communications look professional and legitimate.
A business email address also makes your company’s emails more consistent.
Also, if you have a team and every single one of your team uses the same business domain in their email addresses, it’s clear that you’re all on the same, unified team.

They will ask their friends if they know someone that does this or sells that.
Even Facebook has something called Recommendations, where your Facebook friends can recommend who they know. The question is, will you be the person they will recommend?

2. They will ask their networks.
You see, every one of us belong to a group or network, It can be a WhatsApp group, Telegram group, a Facebook group, etc.
If you are someone that offers great value in that group you belong to, whenever a member is looking for a reliable or trusted person to do business with, those in that network you belong to will definitely recommend you because they may have received value based on the content or the things that you have shared in that group. That’s why you need to become valuable in any group that you belong to.
3. They will search the web
If they didn’t use any of the two options above, the next option is to go online to search for who to buy from.
Will, you be found online? If you are found, are you positioned to be the one they will buy from?
When they find you, the first factor they will consider is what others have said about you.
That is why social proofs or testimonials are a must-have if you have a presence online. You will not be there to convince them, what others said doing business with you will inform their buying decision.

I ask her why she couldn’t explain why and it was obvious she was not trained to educate customers on the features of the products.
This is not particular to store owners.
You go to some hotels, the room attendants cannot simply educate you on how to use certain amenities in the room.
You rent an apartment, some real estate agents can’t tell you what certain things do in the apartment even when you ask them.
A mechanic will be doing some adjustments on your car, you ask him why he is altering something, he can’t explain.
At worst, he will say it’s not doing anything. (So the manufacturer that put it is a fool)
As a business owner, as you are drawing up your content marketing plan, ensure that education marketing is number one on your plan.
Create educational content for your marketing.
Doing this will enable you to educate your customers on how to use certain aspects of your product or service.
This type of content is mainly How-To type of content and can be in the form of;
Video – You can create one using your phone or some easy to use apps like Lumen5, Headliner, Quik or advance tools like Animation software, screencast software like Camtasia, Screencomatic, etc.
Audio – Using free tools like Audacity or even your mobile phone audio recorder.
Short Reports – You can write out step by step guide, convert it to a pdf file and send to your customers.
Having a website maintenance plan is important for the safety and efficiency of your website.
